Look what I got in the mail last week! I had wanted to review a little earlier but I was away for the weekend. So here is my little review on the Geo Super Size Angel Brown Circle Lenses and on Skin79′s Super BB Triple Functions (the pink package).

Almost Animecon 2012 in Almelo!
Just a few more weeks and then I can experience another Anime convention here in the Netherlands. I will be going to Anime 2012 Apocalypse Cow in Almelo (Theater Hotel Almelo) in the Netherlands the weekend of 18-20th of May. I’ll be there for the whole weekend, staying at the Theater Hotel with my cousin Yuzu and my friends Marloes and Debby.
This year I want to cosplay for the first time~ WHAT? YA!
I haven’t completed my costume yet but I’m almost there. I’m not sure what I will wear on the other days but expect me to be cosplayed as Yoko Littner from the Anime: Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann on Saturday. Just to give you guys a little sneak peek, these are the basic things I have so far. The top (which I made myself, which was a PAIN, not completely satisfied with it. Either way, I can’t do better because I don’t have a sewing machine and it already took me a LOT of time to get this far. So I’ll just deal with it.) and the shorts. I have a belt, though it’s just a regular white belt at the moment as I wait for my ordered studs. The wig on the other picture, and this is just the basic wig, so I wasn’t wearing the ponytail and of course the hairpin which I made from a “Skull Hairpin”-keychain and used a hot glue gun to attach it onto a hairclip.

Other things I have so far are the scarf, the stockings and the boots. I still want to get new circle lenses if I have enough money left, if not I will probably wear the ones that I wear in this picture which are black ones, though my own eye color still shows. So far I’m happy with the result, the top looks good enough even though I think I could’ve done better. But! This was only my first time ever doing something like this. Also with Cutting the bangs of my wig, turned out alright, I didn’t want to get side swept bangs because I usually don’t like it on wigs and I think that it suits me better to have straight bangs. I don’t know if I have time left to make the sniper rifle, I had wanted to and my dad was willing to help me. Though because of public transport I have no idea if I’ll be able to bring the whole thing with me (especially since I travel from the airport), if I decide not to make it now I will probably do so later for a funshoot of this cosplay.

Look what finally got in the mail!
In January I ordered 2 kigurumi’s. A lion and a tiger, the lion kigurumi is for my boyfriend and the tiger is for myself. I checked the tracking a few times this week and it said my package had been in Amsterdam since February 18th. So I called the post office 2 days ago and they said I just had to wait because it can take up to 30 days. The next day I checked again and saw they had already send my package, and tada~ here it is~ !
